The project is organised by the creation of a “central core” which will create a “civic” reference for Kunshan and the whole region of Shanghai, Kunshan, and Suzhou; the “central piece” as gathering “place” for civic activities related to culture high-end shop and mixed uses of offices, research centres and some dense housing. It is organised in two pieces each side of the river. They will produce a unique place in the Asia, where this type of conjunction doesn’t exist at this level of centrality and water related.
