The introduction of La Coruña intermodal station brings a new form of mobility, which is more efficient than the traditional railways, reduces protagonism of private vehicles in the regional travel and increases the influence of the city radius.

The situation of the new intermodal station takes advantages of a sloping topography, which facilitates height reorganization of exchanges between different types of transport - AVE, national and regional trains, trams, urban and intercity buses, bikes, taxis, parking lots, pedestrian ... - while freeing up a significant ground surface that can be used for constructing a park for the district and to suture surrounding neighborhoods.

The current centrality is enhanced with activities and services related to the new station to enable the redevelopment of the neighborhood.
